Ubisoft Reveals Far Cry 5 System Requirements

After the game being pushed back from its original February release due to letting developers polish the game a bit longer, Far Cry 5 is slated for March 27, 2018. If you want to take a trip to Montana and kill some religious fanatics you’ll need a pretty beefy PC, at least if you plan on playing in 4K resolution. Ubisoft revealed official Far Cry 5 PC requirements, which you can check out below:

Minimum Requirements (720p low details):

  • OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2400 @ 3.1 GHz or AMD FX-6300 @ 3.5 GHz or equivalent
  • VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 or AMD R9 270 (2GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or better)
  • RAM: 8GB
  • OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)

The PC version of the game will come with support for many different aspect ratios, FOV slider, option to lock FPS, and resolution scaling option. Further, Far Cry 5 will land on PC with video memory usage meter accompanied with benchmark feature, which should further help players in finding a perfect combination of visual options for their PC before jumping into the high-octane action set in fictional Hope County, Montana.
