Ubisoft Hits Bull's Eye with Far Cry 5 Season Pass, Fight Giant Spiders on Mars!

Far Cry 5 DLC
Far Cry 5 DLC

Unlike a regular slew of DLC packs, which usually contain new weapons, skins, maybe a couple new missions or quests for the base game, Far Cry 5 might get the best Season Pass ever. If you remember Far Cry Blood Dragon, an impressive piece of standalone additional content that launched shortly after Far Cry 3, pitting the player against laser spewing dinosaurs and was set in the 80s-inspired retro-future, you know what a quality expansion is. It seems Far Cry 5 developers again had psychoactive creative meetings because Far Cry season pass will pit players against zombies and deadly spiders from Mars.

The Season Pass includes three pieces of DLC. The first one is set in Vietnam and will put you in the boots of a sole survivor soldier who has to fight his way against the Viet Cong army. The second looks like it came from the 80s (and its poster suggests it will be a co-op adventure) is called Dead Living Zombies, and we think it will be a blast to kill some B-movie zombies with friends. There will be multiple scenarios inspired by cult zombie flicks from the eighties.

The third and final DLC piece is called Lost On Mars, and its poster depicts the player facing deadly arachnids. This one looks like a worthy successor to Far Cry Blood Dragon, and we can’t wait to try it out. In fact, we want to try this one out more than the main game.

Finally, all those who get the Season Pass will receive Far Cry 3 Classic Edition, a month before the game launches for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 during summer of 2018. PC players who get Season Pass or Far Cry 5 Gold Edition will also receive Far Cry 3. Finally, the game will also feature a map editor, with more details shared at a later date. And finally, you can check out the new story trailer below. Far Cry 5 is set to launch on March 27, 2018.
