G.Skill Announces Fastest Ever Memory Kit Clocked at 4700mhz
If you really want to have the fastest memory available, wait a couple of months and get the G.Skill Trident Z RGB Memory kit that pushes the limit with the speed of 4700MHz. It won’t give you much advantage over the second fastest memory, which works at 4600MHz, but it’s worth it because of prestige. On the other hand, it is by far the fastest RGB memory with the second place occupied by Trident Z RGB DDR4-4266MHz, also made by G.Skill.
The memory kit comes with two sticks, each one with eight gigs of capacity (with the kit having a capacity of 16GB) with timings set at 19-19-19-39 at 1.45V. Each stick contains “highly-screened, high-performance Samsung DDR4 B-die ICs,” according to G.Skill and the performance as well as stability are tested on “the MSI Z370I GAMING PRO CARBON AC motherboard and Intel® Core™ i7-8700K processor.”
And if you want to push the fastest memory available even further, the G.SKILL Trident Z RGB memory kit supports the Intel XMP 2.0 profile, along a fast, one-click memory overclocking. The Trident Z DDR4-4700MHz RGB Memory Kit will become available during Q2, 2018.
